Training Points and where to spend them?

I'm a level 53 Pyromancer, and have faced the dilemma of the Astral Schools upon my entry to Celestia. I trained Strong and Giant, naturally, but since there have to be other trainers besides those in the Base Camp, which astral school is the best for fire wizards?
On a side note, I have two extra points and am looking at the conventional schools as well. I have trained Ice to Tower Shield and Life to Satyr, Balance for the elemental blade and not the trap, Balance again for Sap Health (1 pip, sacrifice minion for 500 hp) and Storm for Sap Power (1 pip, sacrifice minion for 4 pips), the latter two because I use my minion a lot and he costs 3 pips. I have generally stayed away from PvP and the last time I tried it I was matched up with people my level (ok) who were also warlords while I am and always will be a private, and after a few rounds of losing to their superior gear I gave up, but now I'm thinking of giving it another go. Should I train reshuffle and Infection? Or if you have other suggestions what would they be? Sorry this post is a pack of questions.

Hello Richard,

To your question(s) regarding the Astral school spells, there are trainers in other parts of Celestia and beyond. As a Fire school wizard, and without knowing your base accuracy, I would suggest you train for better accuracy to avoid fizzles. I'm sure your gear offers damage boosting and other beneficial stats, but if you fizzle, you do zero damage and waste a turn in a duel.

Other than your training of the Sap Health/Power points, a lot of other players train in those same schools as secondaries, but you clearly explained your reasoning behind those choices, so best of luck in your play style.

I cannot offer too much advice in the PVP aspect of the game due to the fact that I choose not to participate in it. However the ideas of Reshuffle, and Infection seem like sound ones. I don't know if a dispel or two might be a viable option, or a waste of a turn.

I hope I helped you, and continue to have fun.
