There is no set drop rate. All gear and pets are rare to ultra rare, so yes, patience is required. sorry!
Ah, it took me quite a while to get all my Waterworks gear. I too had the most problems on the robe. As what has already been said, patience is required. Here's a little suggestion that I would use so I wouldn't find Waterworks a pain. Take a break from it for however long you need. It will give you time to cool off, then give it another shot. If you do that, I believe it will make it a less of a pain. I wish you luck! ~Shannon Skybreaker
I think the drops are rarer than it was a year ago. Before, it didn't take me but a few battles to get the gear I needed, but now, I have gone through more than 20 times and I still don't have my Death boots. My Ice took 57 times to finally get her robe.
It's random chance, but I think the odds are less now than it was before.
