Salutations,

This game is great. No doubt. But I am going to state facts.
First with the good. Kingsisle, your game has won so many things, it has made so many people happy, get through school, etc. You have created a great safe-haven from the real world called the Spiral. Your ideas are so original and has had many players like me pulled in for so many years. Seriously. This game is great. We have met so many memorable characters, including Merle Ambrose, Bartleby, Diego, and so on. One of the best games out there.
Now for the ugly stuff.
Storm. Insane damage. That is about all that it has. Otherwise, have fun with horrible accuracy and outrageously low health. I'm not saying make the accuracy 90% or the starting health better than Ice's (If possible) but PLEASE make it a tad better! Give it a little bit more health, and make a few percents in for the accuracy. Or, even, boost the storm wizards level 20 and below so they have a chance! Second of all, Defeat-And-Collect quests. Have us gain at least one item per monster, 2 items if 3 monsters. Not 90 battles for 1 staff or chicken wing or whatever. And they're littered across the game! Add some puzzle quests in there, or something that isn't mindless clicking! I know for a fact that Zafaria and Azteca are basically "Okay young wizard, go get 18 bo staffs from impossible street monsters while the NPCs like me twiddle our thumbs!" COME ON. Finally, farming/worlds. For those 110 wizards farming darkmoor for a good piece of gear for 5 days, I feel for you. KI, consider making it a little easier for them! They did their time in each world. Let them face a tad less of a struggle! For Celestia, prepare the players in some way. Don't make it soloable necessarily, just prepare them in some way! Please!
I realize that for the wizards that completed the game under these conditions, thinking, "Another noob trying to get out of working hard..." I know you would like some changes as well. Bash me all you want, but me and you both know this is what we want. K.I., please consider some fixes.
Last thing that I almost forgot.
Fix the critical system please. Many high levels do not like it Sam I am, and neither do I, necessarily. Thanks!

Sincerely,
NightHound732

I don't really see a problem here. I know you have good intentions, but if they did go through with it:

"I've gotten all the drops I've needed, the best snacks to make a great pet, as well as some amazing gear to boot."

Now what.

The fact that there are so many challenges in battling with cheats and trying time and time again for drops is what really makes the game interesting. It's no the destination, it's the journey.

The ugly stuff to horrific for you? There's an even faster way to solve the issue- fix those aspects in gear!

Jewel socketing is a great way to really boost your stats where necessary. You fizzle too much? Farm for an accuracy jewel! There are plenty of ways to boost your stats other than just gear.

Need preparation for worlds like Celestia? It's already there! Celestia introduces the astral spell schools, WOW! Great utility spells to further boost your stats in battles. Zafaria also has some astral trainers as well. Avalon, new spells for all schools at 75! There's a quest for it! Azteca, behold! More astral spells! Khrysalis, some npcs can assist you in battle! One in particular gives you +50% damage and +20% universal resist, OMG! (Dyvim OP)

Farming Darkmoor days on end with no luck? I give you, Malistaire the Undying's chest. I myself paid 5000 crowns in one run and got his boots AND his hat! Wow! You wouldn't believe the luck with that thing. So far I've heard from other wizards 1000-10000 crowns on the chest, you will get two pieces of his gear. Maybe you'll get two of the same boots, but hey, compared to farming for 5 days with nothing, I'll take it.

And they're not going to fix the critical system. Stop begging and start working around it.

If you can't find people to join you, life happens. Team up or start making lots of friends real fast. Most of the people on here don't bite.

Usually.

But what is my opinion against the hoards of others? This is just my take. Feel free to respond.

Sorry for the wall of text. Habit.

thelastdiviner has some good tips. If you read the Test Realm Update notes you will find that they are reducing the number of defeat and collect quests in a number of worlds. Storm is fine as is. (Once you get higher leveled it's smooth sailing.) Do as thelastdiviner suggests and put some storm accuracy gems on your wizard. If you want better accuracy or more health or whatever try ANOTHER school! There are six wizard spots! They are changing the critical system for PVP in the Test Realm. Essentially just go read the Test Realm updates 80% of your concerns are being addressed......

Here is a link to the Test Realm Update Notes.

storms only weakness is its health. if it got more it would unbalance the schools and make storm the best school. storm can already kill almost any thing in a few turns most max storm wizards have 120 damage and glow bugs spell if they get a shadow pip on the first round they can do 3000+ damage to all enemies. if they had more health they would be over powered and kingsisle would have to make enemies more hard and the schools like life and ice that can't do op damage levels fast will find battles really hard. in polaris its already harder to kill storm enemies because they use enfeeble so much and if your ice or life and dont have a strong hitting attack all spell you need the blades to kill. Just my thoughts.

Wow. I'm so sorry.
I (now that I look back) was a complete child about the issue. You, sir, have opened my eyes completely.
I cannot apologize enough! And with Test Realm out, most of these issues are fixed. I cannot believe I wrote this.
Please forgive me. So sorry.

No apologies necessary! You made some very good points and the truth is even if you do end up finishing the game with all the gear, best pets and drops necessary, there will probably be more game content introduced by the time anyway. No harm done
