What is some good level 50 storm gear?

I recently got to level 50 on my storm wizard and I still have level 30 gear on. I know for level 60 I can get the skyscream gear from waterworks but does anyone have tips?

Well, when I was your level, I bought some Professors Hoard packs for Celestia.

Thing is, Waterworks is only 10 levels away, so you don't have to buy gear. You can just get high levels to help you quest.

Just take it to your personal preferences.

Gear from Mount Olympus is still good for level 50.

I will recommended you begin questing in Grizzleheim and Wintertusk. Completing both worlds unlocks:

Large amounts of experience
Spells
Pets
Good Gear - (In Sudrilund, you'll have the option of buying school only crafting gear) This is a good substitute until you're able to gain your Waterworks Gear.
(In Vestrilund, you'll also have the option of purchasing good crafting recipes for rings and athames).

I held off until level 56 and crafted the Wintertusk gear from Grizzleheim. Unless you plan on staying mid level for a while its not worth farming gear.
