I am a level 50 Wizard and I am looking for the best gearfrom packs. I do not need mounts, pets, snacks, or reagents. I prefer items with higher damage bonuses and critical chance over defensive bonuses like block ratings and stun resistance. Any suggestions?
For wands, I suggest purchasing the "Terrors Hoard" pack. I purchased the Terrors hoard pack and got one of the weapons from it recently before I turned level 70 (it's a lvl60 wand). This weapon still has a better critical rating than all of the level 70 wands I have gotten from any other packs, drops, or the Bazaar. This pack also has a surprisingly high drop rating of weapons like so. Even at level 50 I'm sure the weapons in this pack have better critical rating than any other pack weapons.
Now for gear itself, the critical ratings vary between what pack you're buying. For level 50 in general not many packs will give gear with much critical rating if any at all. I suggest either waiting for level 60 or 70 before buying any packs, or still buying the Terrors Hoard or the Hoard of the Hydra pack if you just want more chances of gear in general. But, I do know that you should not buy the Wyverns Hoard pack, as this gives gear mainly for high health and healing spells, which is not what you're looking for. You could also watch some videos on the web showcasing people purchasing Hoard/Lore packs. This could help you see the drops you could get from them and make a better decision for yourself.
