Leveling up a high damage school (eg. storm) makes creating other wizards easier. Storm will allow you to farm gold easily, hence giving you access to treasure cards and mounts that you can transfer to your newer characters. Don't underestimate the power of an extra 100 damage or so early-game
If you level up a high damage school first (eg. Storm) it will make creating new characters easier. Storm will allow you to speed your way to the higher levels, where gear that goes for a good bit of gold is dropped fairly consistently. You can transfer this gear to a newer wizard, sell it at the bazaar and use the gold to buy a 40% mount and treasure cards. Speaking of treasure cards, early game keep an eye out in the bazaar for "Strong" TC's. Giving your spells an extra 100 damage, especially when your enemies have less than 500 health makes all the difference in the world.
While playing the game and exploring the worlds, make sure to pick up reagents you find around the maps the craftable gear start to become one of the strongest in the game later on!
I say don't do rank only tourneys if your low level,, they took the fun out of pvp when they made that spell guardian life to bring you back to life and they can heal up so you can never kill them if they play that card right off the bat and keep healing and they have a life pet ,, and if they die they can heal back up to full health and play that guardian card again and again, and if the life pet heals yep not worth the time no more to go into battles
Make sure to do an adequate amount of side worlds and quests! Don't abandon Grizzleheim and Wysteria, otherwise you may not be able to get spells you want later on!
Secondary schools aren't the way to go, IMO. While everyone's play style is different, I think it's best to get a bit from each school with the training points that you earn!
Gardening ultra plants like ultra king parsley is the best way to obtain amber. They give amber occasionally on reg harvest and drop other ukp seeds. Let them wilt before elder and and revive them before dead. Endless supply.
Communicate with your team, you don't have to be one to kill the boss. Support your teammates with blades or other spells like shields to make the fight you're in go faster rather than wanting to be one who gets the final kill.
Also, utilise that sidehand well! It's important to carry TC like enchants or blades when your deck is giving you problems!
(The tips in RED apply to all ages, The tips in ORANGE apply to players under the age of 18)
Tip #01- Never share any personal information with anybody. (this includes, Phone Numbers, E-mail Addresses, Location, Full Name or Social Media accounts.)
Tip #02- Always ask your parents or a carer if you can purchase membership or crowns.
Tip #03- If another player begs for a gift, simply just block and report.
Tip #04- If you feel threatened or bullied by another player, block, and report as they will be dealt with by Moderators or a member of KingsIsle Staff.
Don't let yourself be bullied. Have fun with whichever school you choose and play how you want, dress how you want. All schools have pros and cons and it's fun to try almost all of them and learn how they can "work together"
Many items in Wizard101 are "No Auction" meaning you can not sell them at the bazaar or using quick sell. However you CAN sell them.
Following is a list of my favorite places to sell "no auction" items in Wizard City:
Gear - Dorrick Blaze right outside the Bazaar on the right or Prospector Zeke and Eloise Merryweather, Commons
Seeds - Farley, Gardener, Golem Court Pets - Tennant Wastelander at the Pet Pavillion Pet Snacks - Dusty Shadowcloud at the Pet Pavillion Fish - Lucky Hookline in the Commons Furniture - Albert Quickhammer, Furniture Shop, Olde Town Jewels - Katherine Rockhammer, Jewell Shop,Olde town
Additionally, most spiral vendors in all worlds will buy the type of item they sell, not all, but most.
I shared this on twitter as well: Sell at the bazaar whenever possible. Some items are no auction, but if it can be sold at the bazaar you will get more gold than you would from other vendors or quick sell.
Certain bosses drop holiday loot during specific holiday periods, so if it's St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Christmas or Halloween be sure to check out which bosses will drop holiday specific items!
