I know this is a bit out of the blue, but I was listening to the old version, and it just sounds more appropriate for a "Young Wizard School." It gives me a Harry Potter Sorcerers Stone vibe too.
The new version is well done and sounds fantastic, but let's be honest, it is too similar to the Arcanum. It is so odd that out of all the revamped music themes, Ravenwood's changes completely. I mean, there is no similarity whatsoever from old to new.
I love the old Ravenwood music also. The beautiful graphics certainly match the new music and it gives Ravenwood such a magickal feel.... but the old Ravenwood theme is very Hogwart's-esque and I miss it also. You are not alone.
