The pets in the spiral seem to make one or two motions and that's it. Why not make them be more interactive to the wizards. Bird pets could occasionally sit on your shoulder and other pets might look up at you or nuzzle you. I also think pets should be able to be rubbed and petted when they do a good job in a game or if they do a may cast spell.
