My idea to improve the Loremaster spell farming is to add a 1% increase to the spells drop per Loremaster kill you don't get a spell drop. For example, if i just killed Loremaster, the chance to get a spell increased by 1%, then I killed Loremaster 9 more times and now the percentage of me getting a spell drop is now 10%. Once I do get a spell the percentage will reset and I would have to re-farm the percentages in order to get another spell drop.
I personally feel like this would definitely help people who spent DAYS to even WEEKS (Me for example) trying to get a spell just to not get any spells but the normal drops from Loremaster.
Kings Isle would rather give you a .00001% increase per kill than ever a whole percent If, that is, they ever considered changing any RNG values. The older wizards who won it the hard way, would complain up a storm if they did change anything.
