It's been a long time since Wiz has come out, and something that's really been bugging me, we get new gear, we get new mounts, things get updated, even carded get better graphics and sounds, but why not our wizards themselves? i think it's long overdue that we need a character revamp, look at the new npc's they blink, they move around, we don't see blocky fingers stuck together we see MOVING fingers, more vibrant smiles, come on we need new character design updates please. Our Gear looks so messy on us when to don't belong to a particular set, though we get used to it and don't mind it too much, but if something were to be done to the characters to enhance it, then we could look like we were really wearing our gear and that wold be so cool.

We should be able to change our hair and features with crowns, maybe redo our names?

We may need that, and have the characters' mouths lip-sync to the voiceovers, & have facial expressions & more custom-made cutscene animations. There's that, too. Don't forget that.

Wish KI would update W101's graphical & tech engines so these capabilities would be allowed.

That, and have the HUD disappear except for the text boxes for all conversations with NPCs & so on, have certain dialogue lines that are text boxes turned into pop-ups at the upper-left corner of the screen, especially from defeating creature mobs & some roaming bosses, have all but the centered NPC or NPCs disappear faster, like P101 does, 'cause them disappearing slowly in W101 gets kind of annoying.

Overall, I really wish KI would do those character design revisions made to withstand higher capabilities while retaining their appearances. Honestly, even with the new characters from new worlds & zones, their textures are still a bit blurry & muddy looking, & it gets even more bothersome now.

If anyone's interested in helping KI out with that, I would think of going there, once you get educated & trained enough to match their expertise. They may need some more people to help them with that if these graphical & technical upgrades gets met someday. Even their development tools that made W101's content updates may need refining so it will be more easier & quicker to do changes when KI updates the game, even to past content.

Many of you are right, W101's graphical capabilities have been out of date for a long time, & it's going to be time for KI to do their upkeep on that. If some of you are interested in helping them, if they ask for it someday, might as well be prepared for that day.

With all due respect...
Considering the current firestorm over the redesigned critical/block system, and other problems that have to do mainly with playability, KI should spend the vast majority of their time and resources working on these issues instead of worrying about cosmetics. Whether my avatar has fully articulated fingers is the least of my worries when I'm concerned about whether I'm going to block the next critical attack and frankly, I don't care if my character is blinking or smiling as he takes 2000 damage from that incoming critical Storm Dragon...
I don't think W101 was ever intended to be the benchmark for graphical design. It does what it does very well which is an enhanced, animated representation of a card game with some story line mixed in for good measure. Keeping the graphics within reasonable limits allows the game to be accessible to people with less powerful PCs. The more graphic intensity the higher the PC requirements. As it stands, you don't have to have a dedicated "gaming" PC in order to play. When more aesthetical intricacy is added the minimum system requirements are increased as well. I don't want to wake up one morning and find out that my computer will no longer run the game.
Sure, it would be nice if everything was "pretty" but this isn't Skyrim.

I think most people would be happy if they could update it so the wizards matched the graphics in pirates. You have to admit, the more faces and color choices within the faces really gives more diversity.
