Many new schools have been suggested, the most prominent late game school being 'Light' (), and most others being suggested from the beginning. But there are a few problems:
1) Bartleby only made 3. He only made , & ; these themselves created , , & and Celestians used these to create , & . Old Cob also made , but the only schools we use from the beginning are Bartleby's; without other beings using these, there would be just 7.
2) Suggestions link too easily with existing schools. Wind, Water, Earth, etc. These often wind up being a component or an outcome of an existing magic.
3) Programming. Adding a new school, teacher, magic, backstory, bosses, gear, pets & story would be much too difficult. They'd have to change the school of existing bosses, and therefore add new spells & drops & boosts & resistances. It would be far too much.
So I mentioned solutions. And here's my idea; a student exchange. Not with Wysteria and their false magics, and not like the failure in Zafaria. I mean with Lady Nightstar herself; Grandmother Raven. Since Bartleby made 3 magics, 7 could be naturally made. I think Raven should have done the same. Grandfather Spider, or Old Cob, had only made 1 magic, so nothing could grow from it. But where Spider altered reality & Bartleby made the elements; Raven could've made the ethereal & emotional.
I'll post the schools later, but here's the story. The next arc, or the arc following; Merle asks you to speak with Bartleby. Once you speak with him, he tells you to speak with Raven about an exchange. Cue GH & WT if you haven't done them yet. Then she says she has the perfect student in mind to go to Ravenwood, but needs a Ravenwood student to go to her school - Treefeather (or something much better that swaps Bartleby & Raven's names). Thanks to Mind magic (I'll explain later), you can switch between these wizards once agreed. She helps you design another wizard and boom! You have a level 101 Bartleby student & a level 1 Raven student. But no new games, no new crown pricing; just an expansion to entertain twice as long, and provide incentive for players to get to level 100.
The wizards would work in the sense that on the main screen there's the six Ravenwood seats, but an arrow on the right-hand side of the screen takes you to a wintry school with six seats. A Raven wizard only unlocks for every Bartleby student reaching level 100. So four 100 wizards would get you four new wizards. Since is the seventh devious school (with only 6 seats!), the new schools should have 3 original that became 3 more, but since already existed, 6 seats will let you try all 6 new schools.
Now I'm running out of space, so I'll post my ideas for schools later, but for now; leave your own ideas for schools, teachers, stories & worlds! Bye!
