Revisiting House Rating

My questions/concerns are the same from the posts I found from around 2014. I love decorating and have spent hours decorating some houses which I "listed." However, there have only been 2-5 visits on the houses. It's a little disappointing to buy bric-a-brac elixirs to maximize the decorating (and yes, I even bought gauntlets so that visitors could have some extra fun) but no one seems to even be seeing the houses.

I have gone on some of the tours and a lot of the houses (even the top rated houses) are quite sparse. I learned from a previous poster to look at the number of items listed so when I finally saw a house that had over 100 items, I explored only to find 70-80 wands on the wall.

So I guess I don't understand the rating and/or visiting system and would love some information. Are people removing their houses and re-listing to be in the "New Today" slot again?

KI, any chance that you can enhance this feature for people who love to decorate and see other decorators' efforts?

Thanks!

I love to decorate and have 16 homes. They're not all decorated, because I don't have time; but of the best ones, I add, and re-add these houses onto the castle tours when I remember too. Sometimes they get up to the top of the list; most times they don't. Of the most houses which I've visited making it onto the top ten list left me longing, hoping and wishing for more than experienced and viewed. After not noticing any change to the sparse and lacking homes appearing in such houses, I stopped visiting these houses altogether. Now, I'm happy to enjoy the many friend's houses I get invited to explore, and this is good enough for me.

Here's to your house being all it can be and more with your creative, decorating touch; or something better!
