Wizard101 Drops

I am writing this email in regards to a system in the game which over the course of the past year has ruined the fun for me. I have been playing wizard for many years and over
the course of that time have completed the game with three separate wizards and have had a great time in doing so. However there has always been a problem that I have noticed
with my wizards when trying to gain "end-game" gear.

For many people achieving these drops is not a problem and can be accomplished within ten runs, but for those of us that are not as fortunate it can take well over one hundred runs with nothing to show for it. I understand that these drops are meant to be rare but with over 95% of my friends getting their entire set within ten runs, and a fair portion of the time getting a piece on their first run. A simple answer for this would be to just not farm for the gear if you don't feel that it is worth it however in this day and age of max level PVP not having the "end-game" gear
puts you at such a disadvantage that most of the time skill can not make up for. With the release of the polaris test realm I have also noticed how my stats put me at an extreme disadvantage
compared to other wizards.

To put this into perspective with the release of the "new" ultra dungeons I have done over thirty runs and am yet to receive my robe where as the first group I did it with
both of my friends received it on the first try. Although this dungeon is not as time consuming as darkmoor it is still extremely disappointing to end every single run with the same expected
result of no drops. I have also completed darkmoor almost two hundred times and have only received my boots, taking into consideration the best run I have had took around two hours that's almost four hundred hours of work being generous and I am yet to receive my full set where as most people would take a maximum of thirty hours. At this point in time I have basically given up hope and it seems almost impossible that for some reason the gear would suddenly drop from a single run when it hasn't for almost two hundred. For the vast majority of people this isn't a problem but for those of us that it is it really takes the fun out of the game and it may be the reason I end up leaving.

I propose a system where tokens are earnt for defeating bosses that drop "end-game" gear and can be spent to earn the gear, or simply an invisible quest that gives a random drop after a certain number of kills on the same boss. This would work well in conjunction with the current drop system and may just be an alternative way to get the drops for people that no-matter how hard they work, cannot seem to get the drops. I understand that the required number of "tokens" or kills may be quite high but at least it gives these people a goal to work towards and they know that their hard work will eventually pay off.

If I do end up leaving it will be with fond memories and I thank you and the KI team for those, I just hope something is done about this and may in future help other people who are in the same situation I am.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Again I thank the KI team for the effort they put into the game and the great times I have had with it.
