Fizzle Sounds?

I have been playing through the game with my myth wizard for some time now, and it seems to me that i can hear if the spell will fizzle or succeed while it is being cast. Does anybody know if they can hear the spells of other schools fizzle?

All the schools have a tell if they fizzle.

I got a list of fizzle sounds:

Storm: thunder
Fire: flicker of a flame
Ice: santa bells
Life: fairy noises
Myth: a cyclops roaring
Death: a girl screaming
Balance: a fart xD
