The Ghastly Conspiracy Raid
It was a cold night in Heap, the kind of night that freezes your breath in mid-air, where even the crooks and the crime bosses stay tucked in bed, the kind of night that makes Death itself say: “Brr, nope, not goin’ out.” But some things don’t care about the cold, because their blood runs colder than any night could ever be. Some things are just that… ghastly. But what things? And why? And what could they do in the shadows where Death is too chilly to walk? Figuring that out is a job for Dog Tracy... and the Shadoe… and about 8 Wizards. Together, they must brave the Heap and unravel “The Ghastly Conspiracy.”
Assemble your Guild for the first 8-player raid! This raid will require heavy communication and coordination between raiders through a series of difficult challenges and combats as they pursue the new rewards and titles. This will test even the most experienced of level 170 wizards. Good luck!
Speak to Gwyn Fellwarden in Dun Dara, Avalon to begin The Ghastly Conspiracy Raid!
Aquila Chronicle Content
New Boss
Do you even push bro? Aquila has a new enemy to face that's been pumping ferrous for a few centuries! Fight Sisyphus during a brand-new quest given by Athena Battle Sight in the Garden of Hesperides. You can fight him in Standard mode or try your hand at Challenge mode for greater rewards.
New Spells
The Aquila Immortals have become new spells! One for each school. These Spellements are dropped by Sisyphus, and once you defeat him, you will also see the Spellements show up in the main 3 dungeons of Aquila as well.
Challenge Mode
Face the Immortal Games in their ultimate form. This includes Mount Olympus, Atlantea, and Tartarus. With new cheats and new rewards, these dungeons present a new challenge while staying true to their original mechanics. As with all Challenge Modes, you will get scaled down to the level of the dungeon and your decks will be adjusted to exclude any spells not suited for the level or for Advanced Combat in general. The full dungeons including all secret bosses are included. If you defeat them enough times, you unlock the new Oracle gear set.
Note: Challenge mode health numbers have not been fully balanced yet.
More Gear and Rewards
- Aquila dungeons now allow you to craft the gear from Khalkos Coppersmith.
- The Aquilla chronicle update will include a brand-new template of gear and new pets as well!
New Events
Fantastic Fight Fest
During the entire month of August 2025, Manfred Mander will be visiting the Spiral. He needs your help mapping the Spiral's many dangerous creatures. Rally your friends, team up, and show the Spiral what you’ve got!
How it works:
- Each day, a different world is featured.
- Use the Team Up Kiosk or the Join Team button in the event UI to help out in that world.
- You can earn points for one fight via the kiosk, and two fights via the Join button. Every point helps push the community forward.
Community Progress Waves:
- The event features 4 Community Waves, with a new wave unlocking each week.
- Waves unlock progressively. Once the current wave is complete and enough time has passed, the next one will open.
- All unlocked waves will remain open through the end of the event, so you can still jump in late and earn unique rewards.
- While the event has a bit of built-in flexibility, completing the full progress track will take consistent effort. Log in regularly to stay on track and earn those exclusive rewards!
- Invite your friends to log in and help out as well! This is a community challenge - the more the merrier!
Requirements and Notes:
- You must be level 30+ to use the Join Team button.
- If you haven't unlocked the instance, you will be scaled up. You will not earn XP, loot, or badges, but you will receive credit for the event.
Don’t miss your chance to unlock these exclusive rewards! These exclusive items are among the many rewards available for purchase from Manfred the Mander with your points:
- Fantastic Fight Fez Hat (cosmetic)
- Fantastic Fight Fest 2025 t-shirt
- Scarab Chariot Mount
This event is a team effort, the more wizards who join in, the faster the community can push through each wave and unlock the best rewards. Rally your friends, spread the word, and take on these challenges together.
Raid Island Quests
We finally had the time to go and provide Gwyn Fellwarden with a proper introduction. Head over to Lewellyn Prideheart in your guild and you’ll be able to begin a new quest featuring Gwyn in Dun Dara. There you’ll face the terrors of the Charnel House to prove yourselves worthy of the challenges to come in Raid Island.
Note: You need 4 wizards to complete this quest.
Voracious Void Quest
We’ve also had the time to create the introduction quest to the raid in Dragonsypre. Head to Dun Dara and find Gwyn Fellwarden. Gwyn will send you to investigate strange events in Dragonspyre, eventually leading to the Voracious Void raid.
Note: The previous introduction quest to Raid Island is a pre-requisite for this quest.
Spell Changes
Judgement, Poison, and Frostbite have new Spellement paths while the top path has been removed from Advanced Combat. These Spellements can be aquired through Beastmoon and Beastmoon Seeds.
All spells that previously had a condition that looked for Damage Over Time effects on the opponent or Heal Over Time effects on the caster now Gambit those effects for even greater value. Scion of Fire and Scion of Life are two examples.
Due to this change to over-time conditionals, some Advanced Combats have been adjusted to account for the new values.
- Crying Sky Raid – All dual school elite mobs have been re-adjusted to account for the allowed effect types in their fights. High Priest Yetaxa’s health has been reduced to meet the same relative length of the other Priests.
- Cabal’s Revenge Raid – Bat Bots have been adjusted to set up their OT Gambits better in the Personal Daemon fight and the ice ones will replace the Ice shield when hit before the Background Process. No health changes were needed
- Loon Knight – Damage dealt by the ducks across both Standard and Advanced has been reduced, and Drake Lockley’s punch cheat’s damage has been reduced as well.
Beastmoon Updates
New Beastmoon Forms
Storm Draconian
Storm Draconian focuses on dealing damage while weakening his enemies. He uses interactions never seen before including a new type of damage reduction aura and Storm’s first afterlife spell.
Life Wolf Warrior
The Life Wolf Warrior marks the final version of the original 10 Icons, meaning all Beastmoon Forms have variants of all 7 schools for a grand total of 70. This one heals allies like none before, protecting teammates with extra Healing Over Time and Pacify.
Beastmoon Schedule
Above are the expected Pets and Gold Idols for the next few months of Beastmoon events!
Check out the Event Schedule for the exact dates of the events and be sure to keep watch on the Live update notes and the game’s social media channels for any upcoming announcements.
Recycling Bin
Have you ever trashed an item only to later regret it? The Recycling Bin holds your trashed items for a limited time so that you can change your mind and reclaim them.
- Trashed items and released pets can be reclaimed for up to 30 days.
- Your recycling bin has a limited size and if you trash a lot of items, they may be removed from your recycling bin sooner than 30 days.
- It costs 1000 gold to reclaim an item.
- Click the Recycling Bin Button next to the Trash Button on the Backpack page of your spellbook to open your Recycling Bin.
Tournaments
Tournaments can now be scheduled on demand by players! Using the Tournaments Kiosk, a level 50 or higher player can select the “Host” button in the bottom left of the window.
This opens the Create Tournaments window. In the first page you can select from a list of tournament templates. These templates appear on the left, and you can look through all the pages using the arrows at the bottom of the list. When you select a template the rules information will appear on the right.
On the top half you can see the requirements, duration, and Tourney Token cost to enter the tournament. You can also click the rewards button in the top right to preview the rewards for the tournament. In the bottom half you can see each of the rules for the tournament. You can scroll through the rules using the arrow buttons. When you’ve found a selection that you’re happy with, click next.
In the next window you will still be able to see your selected tournament on the right. The left of the panel allows you to set the Tournament Privacy and Tournament Time options. Currently the Friends and Guild options are disabled as they are still in progress, so the only option for Tournament Privacy is Public. Under Tournament Time you can select when you want your tournament to begin. You may not schedule a tournament to start sooner than 15 minutes from now and you may not schedule a tournament more than six days from now. When you’ve set your time, click Purchase and Create Tournament to move on.
Hosted tournaments will cost crowns. Once you have created the tournament it will appear in the Hosted Schedule tab of the Tournaments Kiosk. A tooltip will appear over each tournament with the name of the host to help you find your friend’s tournament.
When you host a tournament, it functions like any other tournament hosted in the Weekly Schedule, except that hosts may join the tournament at any time. Other players may sign up an hour ahead of time. If enough players have signed up when the scheduled time the tournament will begin. If a tournament does not start, the host will be issued a credit, allowing them to host a tournament free of the crowns cost.
In addition to the Hosted Tournaments feature, the rewards of tournaments have been adjusted. Tournaments will now award Blue Arena Tickets and medals, which can be seen on the rewards preview screen.

Known Issues
Spellements and Scion Spells

- These paths will be "frozen", meaning players will no longer be able to use spellements or refund them.
- This temporary measure is being implemented to prevent further issues while we continue to work toward a solution to this problem.
Other
- Fiery Skelewarrior hatching has been fixed
- Note: Some other hatching routes are still not behaving as intended.
We kindly ask all players to report any bugs or feedback to
The Official Wizard101 Discord server.
