Game loading up slowly

Before the pet updates my game loaded up within 5 - 10 minutes, today (the first day I have played since the update) it took 20 - 30 minutes. What is happening? Will this continue?

You must download all the udpates and additions we made to the game, young Wizard. This can take longer than normal.
