Now that Wild Bolt is a Rank 2, 70% accurate 'Wild' Damage spell, there is a LOT of bickering going on about WHY they had to change it. Well, let's see:
10% Base
+30% Unstoppable = 40%
+25+% Gear boost = 65+%
+10% Infallible Aura = 72-75+%
+10% Lightning Strike = 79-82+%
+10% Precision = 86-90+%
+10% Guidance = 94-99+%

Now, yes, we have people complaining 'But 10 and 100 damage is too weak'. Add Gargantuan. +225 for the Trained, +250 for the Treasure. Now Bolt reads: 235, 325, or 1225 OR it reads 260, 350, or 1250.
235 - 10 points weaker than Weak Lightning Bat
325 - 40 points weaker than Weak Storm Shark
1225 - 195 points Stronger than Leviathan

So next time you think about 'But it's not fair to storm anymore' - Remember, you can still Boost it.

Ok, Sorry, but your Math is flawed! Also, I would like to point out a few things about your so called calculations!

10% Base - Correct
+30% Unstoppable = 40% - Still with you
+25+% Gear boost = 65+% Actually it's 24%, 29% with pet
Ok so we are at 64% to 69% Accuracy
+10% Infallible Aura = 72-75+%
Takes 1 round to cast 74% to 79% Accuracy
+10% Lightning Strike = 79-82+%
Takes 1 round to cast 84% to 89% Accuracy
+10% Precision = 86-90+%
Takes 1 round to cast or another player 94% to 99% Accuracy
+10% Guidance = 94-99+%
Takes 1 round to cast or another player 104% to 109% Accuracy

So, that is 4 rounds to get Accuracy up this high! to do 1000 damage for 2 pips, that only lasts 1 round with this much accuracy, otherwise, it drops back down to, 74% to 79% Accuracy. Now, this is still very high, but that is with the aura that lasts 2 more rounds, cause you casted aura, then you casted lightning strike, then you casted Bolt or even if you did lightning strike then aura, then bolt, then you have 3 rounds left. So, how many rounds does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? LOL How many rounds Does it take before we have the right to have a 1000 damage spell?

Now, you then went on to say enchant with gargantuan? Um, pardon me, but did you not already use unstoppable?

If you ask me, the answer is simple, get rid of unstoppable, and make the Sniper a Rare find again. The Gear Boosts Legendaries have Earned the right to.

Ok, but now, let me explain this. 10, 100, or 1000 damage at 70% accuracy!
Add in 29% accuracy with gear boosts! = 99% Accuracy
Now, add on Gargantuan 225 = 235, 325, or 1225 damage at 99% Accuracy!
Now, add in Gear Damage Boosts! =65% = 387.75, 536.25, or 2021.25
Now, critical points is 150 or 130, I would have to look, but you can use an aura for 1 round of Vengeance, adding in 20% or 25% to Critical!
NOW! Damage is for 2 Pips! 775.5, 1072.5, or 4042.5!

Ok, Does any school have over 4000 health? I know that bolt most of the time hits for 10 or 100, but to have a chance at 4000 in one shot? off the bat! Bolt is still very Broken! Would it not be better to have to work at it to get it to do that much damage, rather than, just have it do that much damage? This way, is right off the bat, or after 1 round of Vengeance.

Also, not to mention, that storm gets WildBolt very early on in the game. Wild bolt to them is completely worthless, a waste of pips! How is that fair? Would it not be better for everyone to work for their accuracy and build up to that damage, rather than, just having it!

The Unstoppable was on the ORIGINAL bolt @ 10%. The Gargantuan was covered under the New bolt. Many people were complaining about how the New Bolt was too weak. Well, as you and I have BOTH pointed out, Bolt is NOT weak, when used Properly. What my Goal was to do was to stop the people who were COMPLAINING that bolt was too weak up.

With most schools having storm resistance (except storm players if they use level 48 gear) that 4000 damage still fails to kill, and that assumes that storm shields, weaknesses, etc. aren't used. If storm takes the time to toss up a bubble and blades or any of the other stuff you can pretty much well bet that defenses are also going to be up against it. If people fail to put defenses up after storm does all of that then they deserve to be killed as one could just as easily killed them with any other school.

darthjt this must really be getting to you to have to resort to insulting anyone and everyone who does not agree with you, no matter where the post is. Look at your post, how long did it take for you to come up with those numbers? When I read it all I saw was blah blah blah from so much repetative use, oh it must be my low intelligence as you stated earlier in another post.

Johnist you can't reason with closed mindedness. The majority of the people in the game never responded to the poll because they either didn't care or didn't know of it. Either way a VERY SMALL amount of people responded to the poll and of those few, there was 62% who voted to restore the old wild bolt. No where near enough to make a difference and so they rant and complain and insult others in any post they can hoping to be noticed. Some people can't or won't comprehend change and can't deal with it in a civilized manner. What was done was done and this was done to death.

Honestly, when are you guys actually going to start to think about what you are saying? Quit running your mouth and listen to your own words!

infallable=1 round to cast, lightning strike = 1 round to cast, precision = 1 round to cast, and guidance = 1 round to cast!

That is 4 rounds to get to the accuracy you are Boasting about! 4 rounds and then finally BOLT is broken!

Now, when you are finally level 58 and have critical gear and gargantuan, then Bolt can do, after only 1 round of Vengeance!
775, 1072, or 4042 of Damage! You guys are so smart, you are right, the old bolt is so broken and the new bolt, is awesome!

But wait, Bolt works great for us High level players! But what about those storm players that are still lower levels? To heck with them? Why care, when I am a Legendary!

A mind is a terrible thing to waste, yet, people still have their head in the clouds!

I agree, the spell in it's original state would have destroyed PvP. For the Best.

Ok, read my post above! Wild Bolt, 'The New Wild Bolt', can destroy PVP! Honestly, I took my storm, mass produced Wild Bolts, with Gargantuan and went into PVP. I SPAM Bolted my opponents, saying, I am sorry the whole time, but trying to prove a point!

Of course, they took it like sore losers, because everyone hates to lose. Anyhow, Bolt totatlly Destroyed them. Killed an ice right off the bat with with wild bolt, because he didn't have full resistance. I did over 3200 damage.

Now, how exactly is the old wild bolt broken?

Oh should I also tell you, that I have 99% accuracy, 65% Damage Boost, 87% Power Pip Boost and 150 points to critical?

So, right off the bat, no casting anything, I can do 4042 damage, if players have no resistance! Yet, how much resistance do players actually have? Also, How many shields? On top of that, How much health? Cause a player can wild bolt all day long and not skip a beat!

Yet, you brainiacs say the old wild bolt would ruin PVP! Even though, that would take 4 rounds to have that much accuracy 1 time!
