Huh?Why?

So, I have a level 36 friend who sometimes uses Scald. I level up to level 36. Merle Ambrose calls me. When I get there, Merle doesn't have anything over his head.
Can someone tell me how to get Scald? I almost need it!

Don't people ever read the FAQ or bugs list? He does this but does not really need you.

The Merle Ambrose thing is frequent and happens about every 5 levels.

To get scald you have to finish Marleybone (The Last Meow) and then go talk to Ambrose.
