I believe it is from the main crafting vendor in Mooshu.

You buy the recipe for the crimson bookstands from the Mooshu crafting teacher, Toshio I think is his name. He is in the commons area of Mooshu.

Get the recipe from the main crafter in Moo Shu.

Just finished that quest with my myth; I would recommend farming the bazzar for reagents, especially black pearls. :?

thx for the help everyone and did you say black pearls? well that's not good because i just did a crafting quest that took FOREVER and used up all my black pearls
