This happens when you have stood in queue longer than 2 minutes for a 1v1. If she is not playing during peak PvP hours, requeuing may take long time to find a match. It is best to enter the arenas at peak hours.
I think those hours are from 2-6PM EST but not sure. Diego the Duelmaster or Roland posted it somewhere in the forum what the peak hours are. ... or maybe the peak hours are posted on Central.
Anyway, just pay attention to how many people are in queue for 1v1.
Less than thirty is not good. You want it to be over 70.
