ok so i logged in this morning and noticed something odd :? about my name tag and my pets name it was black ok so big deal right i ignored it and moved on and then i noticed everyone name is black including friends i cant tell a friend from a random person because the names will be the same color and in case there is another person in my current area that shares a friend name i wont know if that is my friend or some random person
this also affected my battle i cant see names of spells ( minor) but cant see accuressy ( large )
this also affects petsnacks and reagents and stuff
plz ki this recent update shatters my game play and ya know how loyal i have been to you guys despite people trying to get me to join other online games that you guys defeated in the best massive online game contest plz ki revert the names and stuff back to normal

i recently talked to a friend that i know irl and told him what was going on and this was the response
what i am on right now and everything is fine nothing turned into dark letters including names i went back on but i still have this problem but others dont
It's very easy (but takes several steps to figure out what it is):
1. Determine the manufacturer of your video or Audio card
A) Video > Open your control panel, click on "Display" > "Settings" tab > "Advanced" > "Adapter" > "Properties" > "Driver" tab.
B) Audio > Open your control panel, click on "Sounds and Audio Devices" > "Hardware" tab > "Devices" > Click on the audio device then > "Properties" > "Driver" tab.
2. Write down the Driver Provider and Driver Version.
3. Go to the driver manufacturer's website and locate your particular computer and download the newest driver (you can check the latest driver they post with the driver version you have, if it's the same, then don't bother with the download - likely they've come out with a new one since last you updated though). If you have Windows 7, you can open device manager, and right click on the device. You can pick Update drivers from this as well.
After updating the driver, reboot your computer and hopefully, all is right in Wizard City!

I'm afraid, i have the same problem, and my drivers are updated (i double checked to be sure). This happened since last update, when the laucher was modified again.
I guess the game isn't friendly for old system users anymore (i'm on an old pc with win2k and a geforce fx 5200 card).

Correct. I have an old computer that, even with updated graphics drivers, no longer displays the correct color for text. Seems with the last patch, some computers are starting to get left behind :(

If KI just keep the same low graphics and textures over the years the game wont be as good and will be left behind compare to other new high-end graphics games.

consumer society.. A 2 GHz PC with 3 GB memory and a 256 mb graphic card perfectly functioning. Throw away? not really. I don't see the reason to incessantly buy new stuff when what we have can be used to fulfill our needs.

Yes, OR, there is what people call compatibility mode. New PC? you get the latest stuff, great graphics, and such. Oldish PC? Compatibility mode helps you play still. As a matter of fact, i have an old notebook with a 32 mb graphic cards and until not so long ago i was using it to play W101. Not a panacea, but it would show simpler graphics and work quite well. Proof that compatibility *exists*

Yes, I know this thanks. I have four computers of varying age and capability. I was pointing out that merely updating graphic drivers is not enough. The last patch may have actually exceeded the capacity of some computers.
