krokotopia sand pile quest messed up?

I have a death wizard level 11. And i have a quest in krokotopia where quest helper is not allowed. It says to find a key under a pile of sand. I am pretty sure i found it and when i walk up to it nothing happens. Please, tell me what's going on.

It is also possible you came upon it right after someone else collected it and you have to wait for it to regenerate.

Worked fine for me - I found it fairly quickly, just keep on searching the piles of dirt.

This is another new quest helper 'update.' Lovely.
The sand pile is against the wall somewhere in the royal hall dig site. You need to press "X" when you find it. If you think you're in the right spot, try switching realms.
