Now when Avalon first came out I was a complainer about Guardian Spirit but I round the counter of it and adjusted my strategy. I look at PvP and the topics I see are Guardian Spirit and Ice's resist.
Guardian Spirit: While I hated on this spell so much, I saw it from Life's perspective and notice this spell was good. When I heard about the nerf I was changing sides. The original 25% was good. 15% for 5 pips. No, no and no. If we are going to change Life's healing, lets nerf ALL of the spells. Rebirth looks overpowered! Nerf it! Satyr is too much! Nerf it! No. Life heals. And this needs to be put back. Either put it back or change this spell. I honestly wasted 25 minutes on my Life doing this spell quest for nothing.
Ice's Resist: Again, I complained on this, and changed sides. Now I do believe that they have a LITTLE too much resist, but due to their attack, they need it. Converts, Spears, And Infallible helped on this, so I am good.
Bottom line: PvPers have changed this game tremendously. All of the nerfs related to PvP complaints. From Wild Bolt all the way to Guardian Spirit (Don't even get me started on Bad Juju), PvPers who refuse to adjust their strategy and just complain when they should be fixing their decks. I don't PvP just because of all of this.
However, I am looking forward to the new Arenas ( I practice 4v4 when I am not questing)
Some people even said 15% is to overpowered. PvP really hurts the game. When KingsIsle makes a spell, they should actually sit down and think. I am sure they do, but do they think about all the ways to use this? Will it be a treasure? How will this affect PvP and PvE? Ice will usually have about 20-30 attack with all the new gear, so I think it is a fair trade-off. It's also the pet that helps Ice, so no one can complain about pets and changing them!
IMHO, the central problem is that PvP is dominated by hardcore players while PvE is the domain of casual/family players. We often hold entirely different views of gear, spells, and other aspects of the game. As I see it, KI has to find a way to keep the game playable for PvE, and PvPers have to adapt.
@SantaIceBurg, I agree with you that nerfs to spells and gear are ALWAYS due to complaints in the PvP forums. LOL, someone even mentioned to me once that the PvP forums are always full of anger and hasty reactions, as that aspect of the game incites negativism among players. So sad...

QBB,,
That makes sense to me, only the more agressive type of person would stick with PVP, just because of the mental challenge. It appears that PVP holds a level of respect/disrespect for rank. Something that is not worried about in PVE. In PVE, most will team with anyone, but in PVP most will only team with someone as good if not better than them. Not to mention the amount of time most PVP players put into their gear setup. I have recently seen just about perfect PVP gear/pet setups. I know how long this takes to do, and it's very time consuming. I think the game is very well balanced, and that KI has keeped it that way for both PVE and for PVP. As far as negativism, you will have that in this game and any other game.
Now to the heart of this reply, what Gear and Spells have nerfed, besides Wild bolt, due to complaints? Show me where KI has stated that any spell has been changed due to Complaints with the exception of Wild bolt?
