I always had this little idea: Crafted level 80 items. The catch to these though would be: They would benefit only 1 stat, and ONE stat only. Example: Spiting Ring: +12% Damage And that is all. OR something like as crazy as: Eye-sniped Dirk +7% Accuracy
Now here were mine: (I wont make creative names, as that will take forever. I will just make it obvious what they do in their name:
Power Pip Ring/Athame: 30% Power pip chance. (Both together hit 100% Power pip chance) Outgoing Ring/Athame: 50% Outgoing Incoming Ring/Athame: 50% Incoming In&Out Ring: 25% Incoming and Outgoing Health Ring/Athame: +500 Health (Just for you OP ice wizards XD) Mana Ring/Athame: +400 MANA (Who needs that? LOL) Piercing Ring/Athame: 5% Piercing Now these wouldn't be easy to craft, the better it is, the tougher it would be:
(I am aware this will never go through, but something is wrong with me and writing stupid stuff feels necessary ATM.) OP Ring/Athame: 300 Health, 200 Mana, 20% PP Chance, 15% Incoming, 20% Outgoing, 2% Piercing, 3% Resist, 7% Boost, 30 Block, 5 Critical, gives 1 -75% Infection Example of a recipe: Outgoing Ring: 28 Grendelweed 40 Perfect Jades 12 Pristine Vials 12 Sunstone 24 Fish Fins 8 Fireblossoms 18 Scrap Iron Not simple for the average crafter. ESPECIALLY THAT GRENDELWEED
OP Ring Recipe: (Extremely tough, amber included for your convenience!) 22 Vines 16 Braided Vines 8 Amber 2 Avalon-Spiced Robes (Toughest Part) 999 Ghost Fire (Yay!) 100 Aether 100 Aquamarines 100 Sunstone

I lied, i'm not making anymore, dont got the time, but you can make your own.
Great idea Ronster. I made a comment about this sort of thing below. I think that if we had an a la carte approach, we could really let people play exactly like they want to. Some could maximize damage, or block, etc. As it stands now the Sidhe staff is the closest thing I have seen. It gives the power pip at start, and then accuracy and power pip percentage. Really makes up for the later gear that loses all power pip boost. pods
