Traps, blades, and whatever... it's all good and there is nothing that can be an improvement there. But what's frustrating is when saving up for a totally huge hit, ten minutes later, a wizard can forget how prepared or unprepared he/she may be by all of the blades swinging over the top of the wizard. They all look alike! :(
What would be fantastic is if a typical death blade is black w/white symbol and 40 pts, then the blade that is 45 would be white w/black interior. If other blades are introduced later they can be all black with white outline or all white with black outlines. (It's difficult to imagine more than four different blades for one school.)
Do you believe this simple fix would assist you in your battles as well?
actually, a VERY simple solution would be to stack the blades/traps and put a number in it. So, instead of 5 sets of Elemental Blades and 5 elemental school specific blades rotating around, you'd only see 4 total blades, each with a number in it to designate how many of them you have. The same could easily work with damage/heal over time spells. There have been times, because of waiting to cast Rain of Fire, that I've been able to stack a ton of blades, and yes, it gets pretty confusing visually.
