I was actually thinking the same thing too. If the Dragon Rider gear isn't inspired after Dragonspyre (hatchery to be exact), what is it inspired after?????
When I saw the words "first DS-themed pack", I actually laughed out loud. We all know that the Dragon's Hoard came first, so I don't know why they put that on it~ seriously, KI, don't insult our intelligence here.
That said, I love DS-themed stuff... so I had to buy a couple of these things, just to see what was in them. Already, I've got a full set of gear, a few neat pets, and something else that made me go all soft inside...

i never said that they are getting greedy with packs i just was asking did they forget what the first ds pack ( and hoard pack ) was maybe they just meant a pack that is more focused toward ds to go along with dragon hoard
also i dont think packs are at all a bad option
lets look at player vs ki's ( not gonna be mean ki this is a unbaised comparition)
players want new stuff including new worlds and for pirate101 to also be good when it comes out
the company know as kingsisle is a big company thus they need money but they also want us to be happy they need the cash to make us happy so they can unleash more fun stuff for us to play with to spend cash on for it a endless cycle result we get are worlds ( eventually ) and other goodies and they get a profit while managing the games ( computer fixing can takes LOTS of cash )
the packs are a fun way to do that there like baseball/yugioh/pokemon cards for the game we all know and love

It was weird that they'd state that. But there are new clothes, pets, lots of pet snacks and some great furniture in this pack. IMO, they should just dump the original and keep this one.

pets gargoyle pet vs nothing -_- yeah not the best comparation moving on
weapons dragonrider twinhanded blade vs Dragon Lance, Dragon Pike, and Dragon Spear wands ok difference in style of attack but very similiar
outfit dragonrider armor vs Glorious Avenger Armor Gear Sets not bad the hat looks better then dragonhoard
so is this kinda a remake on the whole dragon hoard because wasnt that the first ds themed pack ( dragon riders come from ds )
I wouldnt take it so seriously with the details because this one they actually refer to as a dragonspyre themed pack, did they say that on the dragons hoard? No. So i wouldnt get into detail over it with proof, etc.
