Hello Everyone,

This is my first post, so be extra kind. I got a couple of new spells and they made be curious as to how they would work if they were cast more than once. One spell doubles all healing affects, the other increases the chance of a power pip by35%. So if I cast the first one twice, would that mean healing at 4 times the usual amount? Would I increase my chances by 70% for a Pp by casting the second one twice.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Panda,

The answers to your questions have everything to do with the spells you are talking about, and how they are available to you. For example, I am not aware that a global aura will double if you cast a regular one and then a treasure version, because I have never seen someone stack, say, two Doom n Glooms. If you are talking about healing boost charms, which ones? Some will stack and some will not, it depends on the source.

As a rule of thumb, charms will stack if they are a combination of a trained spell, and a couple of different treasure sources. For example: I have a life wizard who can stack at least 4 life blades for use at one time: 1 trained life blade, 1 life blade from a crafted hat, 1 may-cast life blade from my pet, and spirit blades. When I cast a life damage spell, all of my blades will trigger at once, and give me a heck of a damage boost. A similar effect occurs when I stack a heal charm with another tc heal charm; I will get a double charm trigger the next time I heal. On top of that, if I have cast Sanctuary, I will get an additional heal boost, plus whatever is in my gear.

I hope I've somewhat answered to the general trend of your questions. Feel free to post more specific information about what you want to stack, and I'm sure that others will share their wisdom with you.

There ARE spells that you can stack effects (eg: fire blade and elemental blade, among others). I used to have the spell that added another 40% to healing spells, but they never stacked. I did have them work for multiple spells, but they did NOT stack.

I cast doom & gloom 4 times consequtively, but they defintely did not stack up. Each one replaced the other. Easy to test because the pixie health spell heals a discrete 400 amount.

H, Are you responding to me, or to the OP? If you're responding to me, I did not say that Doom n Gloom will stack. I said that I have never seen it or any other global aura spell stack.

Thx.

Hi,

You can certainly stack heal charms, if they are of the right combination of trained and treasure spells.

You can stack plenty of charms, however you may not stack global spells. That would just be Over Powered..

queenlybluebean, correction, the +40% don't stack on themselves. That's what I meant to say

np, I was just clarifying that the global aura spell defintely can not be stacked. I myself was curious so I tried it. I was hoping it might stack with maybe decreasing effect (ex: 65, 80, 90, 95) and more intense visuals but it did not. Would be really cool if it did though! I'm just imagining after four doom & gloom casts the battle circle covered in dark smog & ash, visibility down to 25% with some lightning, rumbling thunder, etc. Not helpful in PvE but I would do it anyway just because its cool.
