I agree! In the meantime, if you can get to the Dragonspyre shops, the furniture shop there sells a round statue base for 700 gold that works quite well with the unicorn statue.
i love this unicorn statue cause my low lvl has like 2 of them but i when i go there with my high lvl to get one i dont get one.thay need to remove the no trade off this si i can give one to my high lvl
