I recently got a new computer and I can open the game fine, but once in the game the screen will start to flash and go fuzzy. I've tried changing the resolution and graphics settings but nothing helps.
I'm currently running this game on Vista 64-bit and have no issues.
Make sure you have the game run "As Administrator". If necessary, set the program computability mode to "XP - SP2" You also might be missing a permissions dialog, which can pop up where you don't notice it sometimes. Use ALT-TAB to swap windows and make sure the O.S. is not confirming the program run.
Another thing to make sure you do is update your video drivers. Some video cards don't work right in 64-bit systems.
