I just noticed this:

After you drop Kermes fire on the honeycomb wall, side you see from the burn is melted. A huge area is slag with just bits on either side.

But the side you see from the other side is intact. The gate is missing, but the wall is solid with a hexagonal hole in the middle where the gate was.

Not good. If you melted it, it should be melted from both sides.
