For people who have been on wiz forever now if you know who Boris tallstaff is in the library then you know his voice has changed in 2013-14 I think his voice sounded a little different now it's been changed anyone else noticed this
Yeah, some voice actors changed over the course of game development. It always throws me off to hear Blad Raveneye from the very first Triton Avenue quests and then to hear him again in the Celestia "Strange Frequencies" era.
Keeping the same people on staff is ideal, but not always possible when your project spans years and years.
How about Romulus in Cyclops Lane? I seem to remember him sounding like a bumbling North American stoner when you showed him the Warhorn pass. But once he became the Aquila historian, he got a British accent, a brain, and a no non-sense attitude.
Inconsistant voices are common throughout the Spiral. Any Wizard City-Dragonspyre main storyline speech will sound a bit muffled, while all other worlds sound more clear. I think they got a more clear recording microphone around the time pet training came out .

I think some voice speech in WC to DS did sound muffled, not that I don't remember, whereas others are equally clear.
Still, while I was in Test, I did notice some voices in WC through some quests being sounded different in one of the new Wizards I had made there. I think that must be one of KI's behind-the-scenes changes. If those of you are thinking of making a new Wizard once it goes Live, just be prepared for voice changes.
There's one other thing, Watson's & Sherlock Bones' voices through Marleybone's main storyline quests in the first arc & the side quests involving Barkingham Palace sound different. I guess these either aren't voiced by the same actors from way before or their actors have improved on their voices to sound more better. If it's either case, I may not be surprised. Didn't you notice that before? I guess some of you haven't remembered.
Well I hope Ambrose's and gamas voice stay the same
Well, that, or have someone to train under their wing to sound exactly like them, in case something occurs. Just saying. Takes practice to know, hear & sound exactly like their voices, but that requires precise attention & very good ears, & I'm sure that could be done sometime soon. That's what some people who really liked hearing the voices a lot should be doing nowadays.
Though, I would like for some who still voice the same to reprise their lines, so they won't sound actually muffled.
Come to think of it, I think Gamma's voiceover in some of his lines should be having some stronger enforcement on the word he says in his lines, "Hoo!", like how an actual real life owl should sound like, E.G., the word spoken of in the game's tutorial.
I did notice one small change recently in DS. I finished the world a while go, but when I helped my sister do it just a month ago, I found that Malistare's voice was quite different from when I did the dungeon.
