I am a lvl 58 Death and Storm and was wondering if there was a way to train more spells from my secondary school which is Storm other then what was in the ravenwood's classroom

You can train your secondary up to level 42 spells. That's all. Anything beyond that is a school-specific spell.
Save your training points though... there are other schools/spells available starting in Celestia.
Yes, I played it smart I think. I only bought storm school stuff then moved onto a couple shields and then blades and traps from balance tree. Then I finally bought sun and star spells. I am now considering moving onto moon spells now but fear the rest of the spells will be not so good just like the gobbler.
I am at level 68 now and pretty happy with my spells.
