Can Mentioned Worlds Names Change?

I was just wondering, is it possible for KI to mention an unreleased world under one name, and then completely change it when comes time to add it to the live realm? For example, KI calls Darkmoor right now, but is it possible at the last second they want to change it to "Darky Nightmare-land?" I think this happened once when KI originally mentioned Avalon as Weirwood in Wizard101 Wysteria then changed it in a quest mid-Zafaria, but left Weirwood as a region of Avalon.

The reason I ask this is because there is a rumour mill going on that Aquila and Empyrea are the same world. This seems rather strange as Empyrea was first mentioned in Wizard101 and called a sky world. Aquila came in around Valencia in Pirate101 and because all worlds in their game take place in the sky, why would they be redundant with the naming? Did the same naming process happen with Aquila and Empyrea or am I fussing over nothing? I do still refuse to believe that Empyrea and Aquila are the same name until KI confirms they are two seperate worlds. Thanks!
