Housing Items ideas!

My favourite kinds of decoration in my house are those that move or that you can interact with. Here are a few items I thought would be fun to have in my house.

A moving feather duster. This one could wander around like a pet or, if that presents issues, it could stay in one spot dusting back and forth. We wizards are so busy saving the Spiral I am sure we would find this use of our magic a great time saver!

Similar idea would be a moving broom.

Self-knitting knitting needles. For most people this would be just a quirky fun item, but for me as a knitter, I know my wizard would love this.

A cuckoo clock that cuckoos. Maybe a little more fancy then the one currently in game with a cute little bird that pops in and out.

A music box. I know we already have music players but this would be a pretty housing item that when you interact with it, it plays a little tune for ten seconds then stops. The possibilities are endless for the different shapes and songs.

These are just some fun whimsical ideas I had. What would you all like to have in your wizardly home?

Well this idea is really an Oldie; I've seen it done in movies and TV since the 1960's, but it could still be fun today:
Moving Portraits, and / or Landscapes, when you interact with them they would speak or react to your presence.
Example:
Portrait one smiles and says hello.
Portrait two squeals and runs away.
Landscape of woodland creatures: the creatures all run and hide.
Landscape of a fisher person and boat: the boat rocks and a fish is reeled in.

I love yours! :)

  • Maybe a pen that writes on a piece of paper? You could choose what you want it to write by typing it in. Kind of like the magic chalk in all the teachers' rooms, but with paper & pen instead.
  • A plant that grows. It could be a sunflower and every time you press the x it grows taller and taller and taller. I can imagine one touching the sky!

I like to be wacky too :)

I can totally imagine that!

How about also a city where it can be a sunshine or rainy and drizzly?

Just a thought. :)
