Welcome to the Wizard101 Message Boards

It does not create a shortcut and if I try to create a shortcut for it, it uses the google chrome symbol instead of the W101 and it does not load correctly. Is there any reason why the shortcut is not being made? I tried looking for the download in my files and all I could find is the Wizard101 installer but not the installed game itself, so I continually have to download and take the time to load the entire game again.

You need to locate where the game is installed on your computer and create a shortcut from the application.

If you are on a PC, it might be in a location similar to the one below:

"C:\ProgramData\KingsIsle Entertainment\Wizard101"

Or you can search your hard drive for a file called "Wizard101" and click that to open the game.
