I usually haunt Wizard101Central to see if they have updated their site, so that I can see what options I have for what level I am at, but they haven't, which is a bummer.
Anyway, I am currently in possession of Zeus' Hailstone Wand, the Alpha and Omega Ring, and the Deck of Immortals, that gives a Fire Giant (AoE 650 damage). While all of these things are L90, I have been soloing Olympus in search of Zeus' L90 hat, robe and boots; but after about 30 tries, I am wandering if it is possible to get them or what I am doing wrong.
The main reason, is that I look at what is being offered as a prized item, and see if it is something I would wanna shoot for. I have several wands of Ares of all schools, especially 30 and 90, but I want the Zeus Gear that is tailored for Ice, but have yet to see it.
Feedback would be enjoyable on this, Timothy Pearlflower, L90

I would expect that this event is going to be the same Water Works - some lucky wizards will get stuff right off, for the rest of us it could take until the thing is not longer prized gear and we have moved on to something else which is usually what happens to me since I can't make my game focus on farming, it's just mind numbing .
When dealing with a game, that is totally based around "chance to get" it's highly unlikely KI will ever make an event where you go though it one time and get everything you wanted out of it. That would be fun for me but not everyone else, lol.
It would seem too many people playing this game like to "farm" for things, so if that's not your "thing" you are sort of just left with what you can get a long the way, I am sort of a Spiral misfit. They don't realize we are playing with the "real challenge" of the game. My wizards are actually able to get though the game with out the best of the best and I am a solo player at heart. These are the same ones saying they don't want the game to be "easy", well try it my way then. Blame it on my roots of the game, I started playing when there wasn't so much competition for things and I liked that. I still help menu chats while questing even if it means repeating an instance I already done because that is what we used to do, we used to help each other get though the game, we all wanted everyone to have the same chance at things, now it's more like, I got this and you can't get it.

Mount Olympus is geared at Level 30's. There is an area for Level 90's to come back to and farm, but overall the rewards here are for Level 30's. Zeus' set and gear drops are primarily meant for Level 30's only. This also includes Level 30 version of the Senators Gear. You will not find a level 90 version of his gear here. Gladiator Dimachaerus will drop the Alpha and Omega Ring, as well as level 90 Lightingbolt staffs, and Level 70-90 Senator's gear pieces. But, again, Mount Olympus is primarily geared at Level 30's. If you'd like higher leveled gear, you will need to test your skill at the higher leveled dungeons.
Atlantea is the next highest stage of rewards, targetting willing Level 70's. Poseidon's gear set is for the Level 70's. It is Atlantea you travel to for gear targeted at your higher players. You can find many Level 70 gear among the major bosses in this area. This is also where the Level 70 Senators robes can be had. The Deck of the Immortal's Might is dropped from the Sand Squid, a side boss to this area, not Gladiator Dimachaerus or any part of the prior dungeon. He is also known to hold the Harpy pet in his loot table. Atlantea also holds the most pet drops (as in how many pets are dropped in this zone) compared to the other two Dungeons.
Finally, if you are Level 90, it is Tartarus where you will try to gain Hades' gear for Level 90's. This gear is the most powerful yet to come to the Spiral and is fitting for the higher level players. Hades has some other interesting gear pieces to complement the high leveled players, such as a new amulet, and the Exalted Amulets. This is your most epic challenge, but with a good team, this can be a very enjoyable experience. The Level 90 Senator's robe is here as well. Cronus, a side boss to this Zone, drops a very powerful Athame that could come very much in handy. If you're Level 90, this is where you would mostly want to farm for powerful gear.
So, to put it plainly and recap... If you're Level 30, Zeus and the bosses of Mount Olympus drop Level 30 gear. There are no Level 70 or 90 versions of his (Zeus') gear set. Gladiator Dimachaerus is a side boss for Level 90's to duel and recieve additional rewards so that the entire Zone is not a waste for them.
If you're Level 70, Poseidon and the bosses of Atlantea drop Level 70 gear. There are no Level 30 or 90 versions of this (Posiedon's) gear set. The Sand Squid is a side boss for Level 90's to fight and recieve additional unique loot fitting to their level so the dungeon won't be a bore.
If you're Level 90, Hades and the bosses of Tartarus drop Level 90 gear. There are no Level 30 or 70 versions of this (Hades') gear set. Cronus is a side boss for Level 90's to battle and gain additional prizes, so you may not have to do the entire dungeon (it would be in your interest though).
I agree with you Mary about people not doing most dungeons in groups, but there are times when wizards like Cunning are able to get through most of the game by themselves.
Many of my friends have been able to figure out a good formula regarding gameplay, but at L90, I am still trying to figure that out. I enjoy having a teammate (unless KI plans on eventually making our mounts become minions in the game), so that I can actually get past some areas.
