According to Central, He has a spell called fire Forged Axe which is an X-pip spell that does 100,210, or 325 damage. Does anybody know how this works? It's not a traditional X-pip spell. it doesn't do X amount of damage per pip. This doesnt seem to make a whole lot of sense.

All Minions (and mobs and bosses) have this X rank effect. All it's saying is:
Fire Forged Axe will do 100 damage for 1 pip or Fire Forged Axe will do 210 damage for 2 pips OR Fire Forged Axe will do 325 damage for 3 Pips It depends sololy on how many pips that Minion has when using it
Malduit, Nerys, Mokompo, Fredoo, Sir Bredevere, and Vassanji all have an attack spell similar to this.
An X rank spell is not limited to just a damage per pip status (which I kinda hate that that is the only way the community seems them). An X rank spell is simply a spell that varies on the number of pips, a spell not defined by one set rank. Not all of them are infinite like Tempest, Judgement, Animate, Dryad, or Heckhound. Many have a limit, like Troll Minion (Rank X-summon a minion for 1-3 pips) or Cyclops minion (Rank X-summon a minion for 1-4 pips).

The problem is, we as a community have done this. We assume that any X-pip spell is "effect per pip" and when we get to ranged cost (like the ones you point out), it confuses us (as a whole) unless the cost is listed as ranged. I figured it was something like this, but clearly, the two can be confusing
