Since the update has hit live realm I have been doing the daily challenges, but to my disappointment the rewards haven't been given to my character/account. I have done all of the days so far to not receive one reward, although it shows the animation for getting it, but I don't get the daily reward. Hope this isn't too poorly described. Thanks!
You receive the reward, the gold for example, immediately after completing the task, not when viewing the reward screen. Clicking on the "G" icon just allows you to view your progress in days. So if you check your gold before completing the task, then after, you will notice the increase.
This is the same for arena tickets and Crowns. To check your Crowns you can view the Crowns History tab of the My Accounts page on the website.
