I'm a n00b leveling up a life wizard and was wondering if buying a mastery amulet and changing my build would be beneficial. Life itself is decent unless I'm playing solo, at which point I hate it because combat takes too long and I do weak damage. My thought was supplementing with a mastery amulet might take some of the sting out. I still really like the support aspect of Life, so I was thinking about picking up the balance amulet so I can give more support when in a group via buffs, and when I'm playing solo I can do Sandstorm and such.
Coming from a level 86 Life, I suggest a: Balance Ice Fire or Myth mastery amulet, as they all have a 4 pip aoe spell. Aoe is life's main weakness because you don't get one until Celestia. I suggest use one of those, and watch mobs die :D
