Well, for the birthday celebration, the earliest players got mounts. Why? The later players play more often... But it was a chance to get a new FREE mount. They should have money added to their membership for this... and money taken off for us who play a lot, and didn't get a free mount. My friend on another game agrees with me, so i think there is a lot more legendarys who play a lot and work really hard. I really do think it was super nice of KI to give us free stuff, but mounts for only some... come on!

I am happy with what I got, and make the best out of it. You didn't make your account back then, which means you were not playing at the time so you do not deserve the mount, simple as that. What happened to the posts saying thanks kingsisle for my reward, now all we have is people arguing with kingsisle because they are jealous of what other people got. I would like to repeat chrissy th'blesser that this is free! How the heck can you be sitting there pouting and typing this whining post on Kingsisle's message boards. What if you got nothing? What if the golden statue was taken away from you? I almost don't want to see your reaction. You sound like a spoiled wizard who always get's everything you want by whining about it...
Also saying the later players play more often is NOT FAIR AND NOT CORRECT! I don't know anybody that has gotten the mounts personally, but I know that that is a generalization. Money added to membership money taken off their membership? Are you insane? Asking kingsisle to punish players that are loyal to kingsisle and asking kingsisle to make membership cheaper for people like you? Oh my, are you serious? Geez, I have more to say but check out the link I included.
It was a thank you to those who helped MAKE this game what it is. They didn't have any obligation to give anything to any of us. Without those that began playing the first few years, these last few may never have been. It is what it is. Personally I am perfectly fine with my statue.
