Gold?

I've been playing wizard101 for a wile now and I've noticed that getting gold has been a lot harder for me now. I already know the bazaar has the best prices, and that you can harvest the kraken (which never works for me), never sell to a vendor (etc.)... If I have almost no homework, then I can get 10,000 gold in 2 weeks. But summer is coming up soon, so I will be aloud to play a little longer in less than a month. I'm trying to save up for the Celestial Observatory, which I saw when I teleported to my friend Celestia. I already have most of the reagents thanks to the bazaar, so the reagents aren't a problem. I spend 30% of my time on wizard101 at the bazaar. What I'm really worried about is the fact that it costs 75,000 gold. I just started the Cave of Solitude in Mooshu. Any ideas on how I should save up for this house? All ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Easy. Keep on questing. If you never buy anything and just keep collecting gold, you will have a lot. The vendor is in Celestia so you need to get there, level up some, and maybe even garden. Prickly Bear Cactuses always give useless snacks and sometimes mega snacks. Sell the useless ones at the bazaar. It may take a while but you could have the gold you need soon.

How did you get the ingredients? I kind of failed.

Oh, well, I don't have all of them; but I got most of them from the bazaar. The bazaar is actually more helpful then it really sounds. Thanks for the answer!

The best place to farm is in Vestrilund, its a storm boss, i think his name is Halfang Bristlecrown, well there is a like a slide. If you climb upwards there will be a boss. He gives the best stuff. Be careful though, you are only lvl 38, oh wait, that means you cant get in. You might, i thibnk you have to be lvl 50

A lot of those entances and dungeons are now PORT locked and if you don't have the quest or have already done it, you can't get in. I don't know that Halfang is one of them or not.

It's ok. School is about to end where I live, so in about 2 weeks I'll be able to level up a little faster. And besides that, I have 2 or 3 friends who have access to Wintertusk. Well thanks! Now I know to start working on my Grizzleheim quests now. I'm only in the middle of Vigrid Rougland, and I should be in Mirkholm keep at my level.
Well thanks

Beachcombing for kelp in Crab Alley. Amass some kelp, go sell the kelp in the bazaar during daytime hours when most kids are in school. Do not sell any aether you might get.

Halfang farming - if you have a high level friend who is willing to take groups in to farm him, you can get your house within a few hours. It's only cost-effective if your group can process all the mobs in one or two turns.

GH and WT generally have lucrative drops. Keep what you know you will be able to use, sell the rest. Sell all decorative items you won't use.

Ordinary questing. Don't buy any more reagents and junk. Just keep pushing onwards. Questing in a group shortens matches and lets you fight more fights per unit of time. This means more gold per unit of time.

Gardening

Pet derby to save money you would otherwise spend on snacks.

Well I think you should go to the commons and get a promethean (I prefer any school but ice death and life).
Tell him to help you farm twin giant mobs. The reason I didn't choose those schools is they take a long time to blade up for the aoe.Myth takes a while also but myth can spam aoes.

Perhaps not the best method for making friends in the spiral. Might as well beg for mounts and tc's too.

No Promethean in their right mind would take a L38 to Twin Giants to farm. Besides, farming anywhere in Azteca is not easy, as any drops are few and far between.

The best bet would be Halfang in Vestrilund. Great drops to sell for easy gold. If there are three or four people in the dungeon, there will be more minions, hence, more drops. Halfang is portable to those who have not unlocked it yet.

10,000 Gold in a week?! Wow that is not good! There is a boss known as Halfang Bristlecrown in Wintertusk, Vestrilund in which if you farm for a solid 2 hours you can get 120,000 gold! I recommend bringing friends because not only does it make it faster to kill, but they also drop more because you face more.

Quest, quest, quest. The gold will build up, I promise you.
Go back and farm dungeons, they generally have lots of gold.
Teleport to friends in high-level worlds and go on the scrounge for Wooden Chests.
Make ordinary mob fights really really really long and drawn-out - you get more rewards that way.
Teleport to any friend in Wintertusk (i.e. Austrilund, Vestrilund, Sudrilund, Nordrilund) and battle some of the mobs with them - very good drops. You can sell the items to your pet or the bazaar for gold.

Just keep going - the higher level you are, the better quests you get, the more gold you get!
