I always get bored when questing; I really want to get exalted before the new worlds come, but I never get the right motivation to do so. Tips would be greatly appreciated.

Take a break, don't try to quest in one long sitting. Also, concentrate only on main quests. There is enough xp in the main quests to get you to level 100 by the end of Khyrsalis.
All the games of this genre have some sort of "grind" in them. The biggest one is obviously the level grind. While doing only main story line quests will progress you through worlds faster, I must suggest to you to do some side quests, including the "Zeke" quests as those reward you with additional Training Points, and some side quests are associated with learning new spells specific to your school.
I agree with Oran, take a break, pace yourself, Wizard101 recently celebrated It's 6th year and is going stronger than ever. Learn your school's strengths, play to those, and focus on acquiring good gear, a useful pet, and lots of gold for housing items, or perhaps take up fishing/gardening for a bit as a means of breaking the monotony.
I have much more fun and find it much less boring to have a friend to quest with. While I have done my share of questing solo, I do not find it as much enjoyable. I would go to dungeons and team up to meet new friends or go to a crowded realm while questing. If your in a crowded realm you are bound to find others working on same quests as you are and it makes it a lot more interesting. I would even change realms till I found one with other people around me. Early on in the game { Marleybone } I asked a random friend to please help me with a boss. He came and helped and we were questing friends ever since. You just have to be assertive, but always ask nicely for help or to join others. When asking for help always say please if your not to busy could you help me with such and such boss or quest, I never answer people who message me and just say Port! or will you help me, unless I really know them. These are just a couple of thing I found to make the game more enjoyable for myself. Hope this Helps some!
I balance my time between my own Characters and others. I quest alongside a long time friend, we bring characters through from new to 100 Then, I use my high level characters to quest alongside my daughter and son I sit in the Pet pavillion raising pets and try to hatch against those poor lowly people everyone else avoids so they can't get a good pet.. I garden, I fish Sometimes I go back and beat through Olympus for fun... There's allot of things you can do when you get bored bashing through the game...

I'll just reiterate what several previous posters have said. One of the greatest things about Wiz101 is that there are so many different things to occupy your time. I don't think I've ever really gotten bored but I do find myself getting frustrated at times. Usually when that happens I'll switch to a different wizard for a while. Especially one with a drastically different playing style. For instance, jumping from a Life wiz to a Balance wiz is quite a difference and tends to spice things up a bit. Another thing I'll do is spend some time working on things other than questing. Gardening, crafting, fishing and pet training are all great ways to pass some time productively. Set your own personal goals. For instance, buy a high level crafting recipe and start farming for the necessary reagents. Devote some time to catching a fish you've never caught before. Train a pet or maybe hatch a hybrid pet. I do all of these things and they can all be very rewarding in their own ways. Another thing I do is check my badge list and see which ones are listed that I can work on. Pluck some ravens to earn the Bird is the Word badge. Cut down some trees to earn the Weed Whacker badge. The list goes on - cats, rats, sharks, crabs, lions, elephants, undead etc., etc. Each of these offer badge opportunities. Often, if you take some time off from the normal grind to do other things, when you do go back to questing you might find you have a different perspective.
