It has come to my attention that some things have changed in the spiral. Like the teleporters being updated in some worlds, badges more organized and even some new voices. This is great and very beneficial to some of us. There have been some negative updates as well. The biggest one I can think of is that the treasure card “Tough” is no longer sold at the libraries. Some of you may be feeling like I am, some of you may not, and some of you may have no idea what I’m talking about. For Myth and Balance wizards, this card was useful to the weak sandstorm and humongofrog spell. I also just noticed today that one of the shops in Pigswick had a portrait you could take… well that is no longer either ß or is it just my game? I would love to have someone tell me their thoughts on this as well an administrator could say a few words why this has happened.
Why would you use Tough when you could use Monstrous?
In the early state of the game, Monstrous is not or was never obtainable from the libraries. The Tough spell use to be sold in the library in Wizard city and Krokotopia as a treasure card.
My point is, in the early part of the game you could use an enchant card to make the spells in your deck stronger (sandstorm, humongofrog). It was easily bought for 50 gold or so. This has been removed under the last update for whatever reason. Now you have to try your hand at the Bazaar or expect it in drops.
