I personally like Australian (the outback) animals and I think that wizard101 should have more Australian themed pets! I will list some of my favorite out back animals to pets below.
Kangaroo: I am sure you were expecting this one. Kangaroos have a pouch on there stomach area ( used for storing their young) and they hop. I thought why not make a kangaroo pet that's motion was to pull something random out of its pouch and look at it bewildered. They item could be anything and there could be multiple ones. This pet could also store any eggs that the wizard is currently using in their pouch and make them hatch faster. A hybrid could be a Wallaby.
Koala These strange animals sleep a lot. They can not move fast and also have a pouch like a kangaroo. I thought that the koala should climb onto your shoulder. Koalas live in trees and climb a lot so it makes sense that they would climb on you. They might even never touch the ground but just stay on your shoulder.
Platypus These animals have a sixth sense and can swim very well. They cover there eyes and ears when they swim and they use there other sense to move about they never bump in to anything either. I thought that a movement could be they cover there eyes and ears and just move with the wizard.
Crocodile These massive reptiles can snap there jaws and crush bones. A movement That they could do is that they look around and then bite the wizards leg. The wizard is surprised but shakes his leg enough to get him off.
Wombat these animals are hard to explain. maybe a motion could be it nuzzles into your leg. They can dig well.
Echidna This lesser known oddity is basically a spiny anteater/hedgehog. They have a prickly back and a long tongue that fits down ant hills so they can eat ants. I thought a motion could be that its tongue sticks out really far and then it goes into the ground slightly then it pulls its ant covered tongue in its mouth.
Emu The worlds second largest bird is quite odd looking. They are not afraid of people and are big. The motion that they use could be that they flap their wings open and make a noise.
Dingo This Australian dog is a force to be reckoned with they hunt in packs and can get quite large. They are very friendly to each other. I thought that to mix things up the pet would be 2 dingo pups. They would wrestle each other and play.
Kookaburra Is a brown white bird that makes noises. It could fly around your head and make funky sounds.
Tasmanian Devil I know this is not Australian but on the island of Tasmania right below but why not add it anyways. They are like really dangerous sharp toothed rats . They could spin around your ankles as a motion.
I hope you liked my idea for Australian pets. Maybe it could just be an Australian update that brings all these pets into the game. I really like my ideas and I love the out back so I hope that these get put into the game. Thanks for reading my post and I hope you like my ideas as much as I did.
