Player Menus in Battles

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes battles can be long and tedious, or sometimes I just want to check how many more Fire Birds I need to defeat. Either way I dislike being limited to the options menu when a battle starts. I understand there would be some limitations; we don't want wizards changing clothes mid duel, it's even possible we don't want people to have the ability to feed items to their pet (I'm sure the good folk at KingsIsle Entertainment can figure out the specifics for us).
But the point is I want to be able to flip through those things, especially while I wait for a bunch of animations to play out that I've seen fifty times in the last half hour.

Thanks for reading. And it's very possible no one else feels this way, in which case I guess it's unnecessary.

It would be nice to have access to at least the Quests and Character portions of the spellbook. And why not more? It would be nice to be able to see what gear and spells we're using in case we've forgotten something.

Ya as lewski said checking my character page would be fantastic. I always want to flip it open and recheck what my resistance is, or what my power pip % is at. It would be nice to check the deck also as I'm always forgetting exactly how many copies of spells I have. However it's possible we wouldn't want this feature in PvP or at least the more competitive PvP instances, as remembering your deck should probably be a point of competition.
