I have a life mage with 100% power pip chance and I still get normal pips every once in a while. It happened three times in the past two days. Is this working correctly? I thought 100% meant that I ALWAYS get power pips.
My Balance wizard also had over 100% power pips, but still got the occasional white pip. Somebody told me that the maximum power pip chance is 99%, even if you have over 100% power pips. Obviously something like this must be happening if you are still getting white pips.
I guess that means I really don't need 100% power pip and I can change out some gear to raise a different stat.
I hope this isn't something that has been fiddled with. My Life has 100% and always gets only power pips. This will be a critical down fall in AZ because by round 3 I need to be able to run my bladed, sharpened bladed, Colossus Forest Lord or it could be annoying. It's already frustrating enough that I am fizzling a lot more and spritely has been adjusted down to seldom cast on my pets.
It's been my experience that if I switch out gear to change below this 100% I do get white pips often. This type of adjustment to Life would be fine if we had a lower all around spell to fall back on like other schools have.
This may also be required to up the challenge for the next world. Both monsters and wizards need to be put at a certain distance to make the game play more difficult. Sadly I am currently parked in AZ at level 90 so don't look forward to changes before I get to complete AZ with at least one wizard.
Yup. 100% power pips? Might show it, but according to KI math, it doesn't exist. 100% accuracy? Might show it, but according to KI math, it doesn't exist.
Whats the point of striving for that 100% if it can never be attained. Kingsisle needs to share the math used to calculate these stats so we can have some idea of what we are doing.
