Every so often I'll run into a situation in this game where I have to wonder if there's some underlying mischief going on. As I near the end of Polaris, I meet a character named Nostrodonimus the Pingouin Prognosticator. He says, "I know why you're here... you want to change your name...". My thoughts went to the hundreds of people who've posted on these forums that "There should be a way I can change my name". They run into this guy and bing bang boom, their greatest wish has finally been granted. Only to find out that Nostrodonimus decides he's wrong, that's not why you're here, and that's the last he ever mentions it. Now to the underlying mischief... is this a cruel, veiled jab at all of those name-change crusaders? Or maybe I'm reading things into it that I want to see because frankly, intentional or not, I think it's hilarious. Kudos KI... deserved or not.
