I was running through my Death mage's spell list and came across Bad juju. I had my son's fire mage on the mind and had the thought:
"Wait a minute, Efreet's secondary spell effect is a death school spell and not fire school"
Which lead me to this question, and the one I'd like your opinion on:
Should spells that have secondary effects, be effects from that school or other schools?
Efreet is Fire, so shouldn't it cast a single target Smokescreen instead of Bad Juju? Wouldn't Dr Von's be better served with the bad Juju after effect since it's a death spell? After all, for a fire to cast Bad Juju, it would cost 6 pips, 2/3rds the requirement for efreet. If we did a pip breakdown, that means that a 900 pt damage spells is really only costing us 2 pips.
