Professor Greyrose, would you please clarify this.
If is my understanding and that of many others that only members and those that have purchased crowns in the last 30 days are able to report.
There is a thread creating some controversy on Wizard101 Central. We would very much appreciate clarification on this so that new players are aware of how the report system works.
It is my understanding (and experience) that only subbed players can report.
In July, I let both of my subs run out. I was a crowns player for 2 months and, during that time, I did not have the option to report, whether I ignored the person first or not.
A safe and fun environment is a right, not aprivilege.

Thank you Von for your reply. But this is where the confusion comes in. On Central, there are several players, who are not members/subscribers and who have not made a Crowns purchase, who claim that they can report using "ignore" first, and then the "report" function is available to them.
I would like to hear from KI. Is that correct? In essence, everyone has the ability to use the "report" function?

Anyone can claim anything they want~ just because I tell you that the moon is made of cheese doesn't make it fact.
On that thread, a Central mod confirms that only paying players can report. Plus, the August 2012 update notes are as follows: "The basic reporting function will still be available to our current Members and players who have made a purchase of Crowns in the last 30 days. We will continue to be diligent to keep the Spiral a clean and safe place for all our young Wizards."

Thank you again Von for your reply.
And thank you for quoting the information that I posted on Central. I am AluraMist on Central. And on page 1 of the thread in that link, post #10, I did post the information you quoted.
As I stated in my reply on this post, there are players posting "who claim that they can report using 'ignore' first, and then the 'report' function is available to them.
