Is this just me? I have both Death and Storm wizards, although I like Death better. But, I think Dr. Von's Monster, better known to players as Frankie should be Storm. Here is why: 1. Dr. Von is storm in Marleybone. 2. Frankie is a creation of technology, and storm is the school associated with technology. 3. The spell itself looks like storm, with all the electricity and computers, etc. There is a spell called Deer Knight which looks really cool. Death could get a spell that looks like Deer Knight instead, but with more pip use and damage, either attack all, or just like Frankie take health from one enemy, give half to self. What the spell Frankie does is fine, but how it looks is not Death really. Death should be dark and spooky and ghostly and made of skeletons, etc. On the the hand, storm gets this Owl spell. Isn't Owl more of a spooky Death thing? Anyways, I think developers lost connection with the game from Celestia on; from spells which don't represent the spirit of schools, to clothing.
We'll as far as the monster spell goes the Frankenstein is brought back to life by electricity and dr.von is storm but resurrection is a completely School power KI was most likely very torn on where to categorize this spell but chose death.
Storm is known for its creativity~ inventors would certainly fall into that category. But Death specializes in, well, reanimating dead stuff... And Dr. Von's monster is a reanimated dead dude.
Dr. Von Katz=Storm; not a necromancer, as he is using Storm power to shock the monster back to life. Monster= some old dead dude, reanimated; hence why it is a death spell.
Class: Undead Look: Death School: Storm Physical Attack: Fire
That being the case, are scarecrows fire or death? Well, the SPELL is Death but the MONSTER is Fire.
As far as I know, Scarecrow is a Halloween creature associated with crows (death), and dead land after harvest. So, it is Death; I don't see any fire in it.

As far as I know from the original story, the monster is a creation, not resurrection. The story is about how science can go wrong. So, it is closer to storm. By the way, my main point is that Deer Knight is a better choice for a Death spell than Frankie.
As you may know, each of the "Spirit" schools is said to draw upon two of the elemental schools. Life draws upon Storm and Fire, and Myth draws upon Fire and Ice.
According to the description for the Death school:
"Death magic sits between Ice and Storm, for the cold energy of undeath draws on those two forces"
So it may make sense that some Death spells like Dr. Von's Monsters may seem especially stormy. It may just be a Death spell that draws more heavily upon the element of Storm. However, it is still a Death spell.
real answer probably: KI wanted a 9-pip death spell and weren't sure what monster to use. since frankie is undead he makes a good choice for a death spell. as for the way they did the animation, it leaves a lot of doubt about what school he really is.
Well in that case doesn't death already run the gamut on health swapping spells they seem to have quite a few of them and for a deer knight with more damage you could always just blade and feint I guess seeing as deer knight is already a hit all death spell .

I'm talking simply about how it is in the game. The monster I showed is one bit melting pot of schools
